          -- Paul Ricoeur

Chaplaincy Counselling & Care
Chaplains at St. Luke's provide spiritual counsel, including end-of-life counselling, to patients and their families and loved ones. The chaplaincy staff is available to serve all inpatients in the hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility and SubAcute Care Unit.
Chaplains assess patient needs, and respond to immediate emotional and spiritual needs. They also participate in family discussions on continuation of care or withdrawal of life support.
Patient visiting at St. Luke's is available daily by Chaplaincy staff, who bring spiritual counselling to the bedside.
